What is the difference between Edit mode and Preview mode?
The Edit mode allows you add modules, products, services, requirements to your showcase.
The preview mode is the view which would be seen to a viewer of your showcase.
When in edit mode, click on the ‘preview’ button on the right upper corner
to shift to preview.
When in Preview mode, click on the ‘Shift to Edit’ button on the right upper corner
to shift to the Edit.
How can I update my profile information?
Click on the edit link next to the profile image.
Enter your business profile details along with your image / company logo (whichever
you find most appropriate ). When done click on the Save button
Click on the edit link next to the About module.
Enter more details regarding your company. When done click on the save button.
What are the different privacy options for sharing my contact
information. How do I set them?
You can share your contact information
1. Only among your contacts.
2. Only among members of Bizhands.
3. Among all members of Bizhands and Guests.
4. No one
To set them, click on the edit link in the profile module of your showcase
Click on the ‘Change your contact privacy’ link next to contact privacy to bring
up a popup
Select your privacy setting. When done click on the Save button.
How do I add a product to my showcase?
In order to upload a product to your showcase, you need to use the product upload
page.
You could get to the product upload page by following either of the below steps:
a. On the Dashboard page, click on the ‘ Display Products’ button on the right side
b. On the header, click on the Upload link and select Product in the dropdown
c. In edit mode of your showcase, click on ‘ Products and Services’ and under the
Product tab, click on the ‘ Add new product’ link
d. In the edit mode of your showcase, select the Product module, and then click
on ‘ Add a product’ button
On the product upload page:
Fill in the product title with a short product description.
Add a main image of the product.
Add more images by clicking on the ‘Add more images for the product’ link.
Add a keyword to select the appropriate category for the product.
To save time, if the Product Description, Payment and Shipping details, Supply capacity
match those of an existing product of yours, then select that product from the dropdown
under ‘ Copy Information from existing product’.
When done, accept the terms and conditions and click on the Save button to upload
the product.
How do I add a service to my showcase ?
In order to upload a service to your showcase, you need to use the service upload
page.
You could get to the service upload page by following either of the below steps:
a. On the Dashboard page, click on the ‘ Display Services’ button on the right side
b. On the header, click on the Upload link and select Service in the dropdown
c. In the edit mode of your showcase, click on ‘ Products and Services’ and under
the Service tab, click on the ‘ Add new service’ link
d. In the edit mode of showcase, select the Service module, and then click on ‘
Add a service’ button
On the service upload page:
Fill in the service title with a detail service description.
Add a keyword to select the appropriate category for the service.
To save time, if the Payment and Price details match those of an existing service
of yours, then select that service from the dropdown under ‘ Copy Information from
existing service’.
When done, accept the terms and conditions and click on the Save button to upload
the service.
How do I organize my product and services?
To organize your products and services, you need to be in the edit mode of your
showcase (if in preview, click on the shift to edit mode on the right side of your
showcase).
The organize button is located in the product / service module.
Make sure you click on the Save changes button in orange, before proceeding to click
on the organize button.
Clicking on the organize button redirects you to another page.
Hold and drag the products /services vertically to organize them.
How do I post a requirement for a product?
In order to upload a requirement, you need to use the requirement upload page.
You could get to the requirement upload page by following either of the below steps:
a. On the Dashboard page, click on the ‘ Post Requirement’ button on the right side
b. On the header, click on the Upload link and select Requirement in the dropdown
c. In edit mode of showcase, click on ‘Requirement’ .
Select the Product tab and click on the link ‘Add new product requirement’ to bring
up the requirement upload page.
On the product upload page:
Fill in the ‘Looking for’ with a detail description.
Add an image of the product.
Add a keyword to select the appropriate category for the product.
To save time, if the Requirement Details match those of an existing product requirement

Add a keyword to select the appropriate Category and Role.
Enter the Preferred Country and City.
When done, accept the terms and conditions and click on the Save button to upload
the product requirement.
How do I delete a product/ service from my showcase?
Go to your showcase in edit mode ( if you are in preview mode click on the ‘Shift
to edit mode’ button on the right hand corner of your showcase)
Click on Product and Services button
To delete a product, select the product tab, and click on the X next to the product
you want to delete
To delete a service, select the service tab, and click on the X next to the service
you want to delete
How do I delete a requirement from my showcase?
Go to your showcase in edit mode (if you are in preview mode click on the ‘Shift
to edit mode’ button on the right hand corner of your showcase).
Click on Requirement button
To delete a product requirement, select the product tab, and click on the X next
to the product requirement you want to delete
To delete a service requirement, select the service tab, and click on the X next
to the service you want to delete
To delete a business opportunity requirement, select the business opportunity tab,
and click on the X next to the service you want to delete
How do I add modules to my showcase?
Bizhands provides up to 26 modules ( as shown below ) which you could add to your
showcase .
To add a module to your showcase, you need to be in the edit mode of your showcase
(if in preview mode, click on the Shift to edit mode on the right side corner of
your showcase).
Click on the Module you want to add.
The modules listed on the left side of your screen, get added in the centre panel
and those listed on the right side get added on the side panel.
Make sure you click on the ‘Save changes ‘button in orange to save the module to
your showcase.
You could use the ‘Swap panel’ button on top to move the side panel from right to
left or left to right.
Click and drag the modules up or down on either panels (centre or side) to position
them appropriately.
Make sure you click on the ‘Save changes’ button in orange to save the changed position.
To add content in any module, click on the ‘Add an entry button’ in it.
Add data in each field. Those marked as * are compulsory
Some modules allow you to add video, images, audio and document.
Order your entries by selecting a list order number for each entry.
When done click on the ‘Save’ button.
Clicking on the add button in the product or services module redirects you to another
page. Make sure you have clicked on the ‘ Save changes’ button before proceeding,
else all your changes to your showcase would be lost.
To make changes to any entry, click on the edit link next to it
To delete any entry, click on X next to it.
How do I add the management of my company to my showcase.
?
You could add the management of your company to your showcase either by:
Clicking on the ‘Add management’ button on the dashboard page
Clicking on the ‘Management’ module in the edit mode of the showcase (if in preview
mode, click on the shift to edit mode on the right upper corner of showcase)
Click on the ‘Save changes’ orange button to save the management button to your
showcase.
By default, the management module would already have an entry with the full name
and the designation of the person entered on registration.
Click on the ‘Add an entry’ button. Enter the Name, Designation and Details. Organize
the management by assigning each entry with a list order number.
When done, click on the Save button below.
How do I add a Youtube video to my showcase?
Click on the Youtube video module in the edit mode of your showcase (if you are
in the preview mode, click on the Shift to Edit mode on the top right of your showcase)
Enter the Title, the video URL (from youtube) and the description.
To organize, enter the list order number for each entry.
When done click on the Save button.
Once you have uploaded your video.
Play it and copy its URL from the address bar of your browser (as shown in the snapshot
below) in the Video URL text box of the Youtube Video module .
How do I add a Audio gallery to my showcase?
Click on the Audio Gallery module in the edit mode of your showcase (if you are
in the preview mode, click on the Shift to Edit mode on the top right of your showcase)
Enter the Title, a description and upload a cover image for the Audio gallery.
Click on the ‘ Add a Audio’ button to add an entry of a audio track.
To organize, enter the list order number for each entry.
When done click on the Save button.
What is the limit on the number of modules I can add to
my showcase?
There is no limit on the number of modules you can add to your showcase. However
there will always be one product, one service, one requirement, one About and one
profile module.
Apart from these you could add as many instances of any other module.
How I delete a module from the showcase?
To delete a module, you need to be in the edit mode of the showcase (if in preview
mode, click on the shift to edit mode button on the right hand corner of your showcase)
Click on the X next to the module you want to delete.
To make this deletion permanent, click on the ‘Save changes button’ in orange.
I made a change to my showcase (added a few modules, deleted
a few modules, changed the position of certain modules) but the next time I visited
my showcase it wasn’t there?
After adding/ deleting/ changing positions of a module/ modules, make sure you click
on the ‘Save changes button’ in orange, else all changes related to it would be
lost.
What all can I use to advertise my business using bizhands?

What is the ‘Add keywords’ button. How can I use it to
optimize my showcase to be found on major search engines like Google?
Your showcase at bizhands will be indexed in major search engines like Google. By
entering keywords related to your business you are optimizing it to be found in
search results. The more relevant the keyword, the more likely your business will
stand out when someone searches.
To add a keyword, you need to be in the edit mode of the showcase (if in Preview,
click on the Shift to Edit mode on the top right of your showcase ).
Enter a keyword (one at a time) and click on the Add button.
To delete a keyword, select it and click on Delete
What is the ‘Business Showcase seal’. How can I use it
to promote my showcase in my emails, blogs and website.?
The ‘Business Showcase seal’ is a few lines of code, which if embedded in your email,
website or blog can help you promote your showcase at Bizhands.

Clicking on the seal (image) links you back to your bizhands showcase where people
can learn about your company's background, recent accomplishments and your business
relations.
To use your ‘Business Showcase seal’, click on the Promote button seen in the edit
mode of your showcase (if in preview, click on the shift to edit mode on the top
right of your showcase).
This brings up a pop up. Select the type of seal and copy the code in the text box
below.
Copy this code on your website / Blog or email
What is the Refer and Share buttons?
The Share and Refer buttons can be used to promote your showcase among other business
within and outside of Bizhands.
The Share button, which you can see only in your showcase (in edit or preview mode)
can be used to promote your showcase among businesses outside of bizhands.
Clicking on this button brings up a popup.
Enter the email address of the contact with whom you would like to share your showcase.
You may change the default Subject and Message.
When done click on the Send Button.
The Refer button, which you can see only in other showcases (or others can see in
your showcase), can be used to promote your showcase among businesses within and
outside of bizhands, by other members of Bizhands.
Clicking on this button brings up a popup.
Select whether you want to Refer this showcase to someone within or outside of Bizhands.
If outside, then enter the email address of the contact to whom you would like to
refer this showcase.
You may change the default Subject and Message.
When done click on the Send Button.
If within Bizhands, then select your contact (from the dropdown list ) to whom you
would like to refer this showcase.
You may change the default Subject and Message.
When done click on the Send Button.
